Cycle Right is the national standard for cycle training, which is produced and facilitated by Cycling Ireland. It provides practical skills and safety training to promote competent and confident cyclists. The Cycle Right programme operates in collaboration with Department of Transport and RSA.
The Cycle Right programme is delivered across three stages, catering for all participants from primary school students through to adults, and is accessible for all regardless of previous cycling experience.
The programme is designed to give cyclists the knowledge and skills to move safely through the road system, an environment shared with other road users.
Cycle Right is delivered via a network of Cycle Right Trainers nationwide who provide participants with skills and knowledge on a phased basis
